Name

Time of Birth of MS Patients in Middle and Low Latitude Areas

Objectives

The relationship among time of birth (TOB) and risk of MS has been evaluated previously on large populations in both hemispheres. However, the majority of studied samples were from countries that located in high latitudes. Now, the question is “what is the pattern of the effect of time of birth in patients who have been born in countries located in middle and low latitudes?” Providing answer for this question is important because can provide more information about environmental factors that may play a role in the pathogenesis of MS. The minimum MSBase dataset will be required including date of birth and location of birth.
